The founder of SS Gan & Co, a member firm of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He is a member of MIA (Chartered Accountant), a Fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a Chartered Member of Institute of Internal Auditors (CMIIA) and also an approved tax agent by the Ministry of Finance (MOF).
She launched her accountancy career with Horwarth – KL, an international accounting firm, in 2004. After a year, she transitioned to Ernst & Young – Penang (EY) in 2005, where her exceptional skills led to her promotion to manager by 2008. In 2009, she took on the role of Group Accountant at SLP Resources Bhd for a year. Her career trajectory continued upward in 2010 when she became a Finance Planning & Analyst for the esteemed multinational company First Solar (M) Sdn. Bhd. After gaining valuable experience there, she joined a group of agricultural farming companies as an Account Manager. Simultaneously, she founded her own firm, Ann Loke & Co (NF 1228), which provides comprehensive company secretary, audit, accounting, and taxation services. She is now fully dedicated to leading her firm, driven by a passion for empowering business owners and entrepreneurs to expand their businesses and enhance their competitiveness through expert training and education in accounting and tax planning.
With over 20 years of distinguished experience in the accounting and tax industries, she also made her mark as a GST Principal Consultant and Certified Trainer during the GST implementation from 2015 to 2018. Today, she is a leading specialist in E-invoicing training and consulting, equipped with cutting-edge knowledge and certification from PSMB/HRDC (Human Resource Development Corporation). Her extensive practical experience across diverse industries has cemented her reputation as a niche trainer in E-invoicing. She excels in delivering interactive and engaging training sessions, fostering a two-way communication that helps participants effectively apply the subject matter to their work environments.
Her career is adorned with numerous speaking engagements and training sessions on topics such as GST, accounting, and tax. She is a sought-after guest speaker and trainer, regularly invited by other training providers to share her profound expertise. Her dedication and passion make her an invaluable asset to the business community, committed to helping others thrive through superior training and education.
Ong Khian Hock (Hawke), LL.B (University of London) is a highly experienced Training Consultant with over 20 years of diverse industry experience spanning banking, sales, customer service, leadership, and human resources.
He specializes in sales excellence, customer service, communication skills, leadership development, problem solving, and change management. Backed by hands-on corporate experience, Hawke brings practical, real-world insights into every training session.
His career includes key roles in AppCo-Granton, Citibank, AmBank, HSBC, Standard Chartered’s subsidiary Price Solutions, and serving as HR Director at Putra Medical Centre Alor Setar. He has led nationwide training initiatives, developed learning frameworks, coached leadership teams, and driven performance improvement across organizations.
Hawke has conducted training for major organizations including HSBC, PETRONAS, Khazanah Nasional, Alliance Bank, KWSP, and AMBank.
Beyond corporate training, he is a competitive shooter who has represented Malaysia in Southeast Asia championships and is a strong advocate of continuous improvement in people, processes, and performance.
Sean Lee hails from Penang Island, Malaysia and is a Consulting Director. He has a modest 20 years of experience in Human Resource and holds two degrees; Bachelors in Business Administration from American City University and Bachelor of Law from University of London. Prior to establishing his own HR Consulting company.
SHARON WONG is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She has completed the GST Tax Agent Course conducted by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department and is a HRD Corp Certified Trainer.
Sharon has more than 20 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, and Business Advisory. She began her career with a medium-sized audit firm before progressing into various senior finance leadership roles with multinational corporations and public-listed companies, including Ann Joo Resources Berhad and Panasonic Manufacturing. Throughout her career, she has accumulated extensive experience across the manufacturing, trading, and retail sectors.
Her areas of expertise include financial management, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, management reporting, corporate taxation, and transfer pricing compliance. She has also been actively involved in coaching and developing finance teams by conducting numerous technical training programmes to enhance accounting and tax competencies.
Over the years, Sharon has conducted various public and in-house training programmes covering GST, SST, finance, accounting, taxation, and regulatory compliance. Since the introduction of Malaysia's e-Invoice initiative, she has been actively delivering e-Invoice training and implementation workshops for the past two years, helping businesses understand the regulatory requirements, navigate the MyInvois Portal, and prepare for successful e-Invoice adoption. Her practical approach, combined with real-world implementation experience, enables participants to gain valuable insights into compliance requirements, common challenges, and best practices for a smooth transition to the e-Invoice environment.
Drawing from her extensive advisory and industry experience, Sharon is known for translating complex tax and accounting concepts into practical solutions that participants can readily apply in their organisations.
Badwi Raashary is a former Customs Superintendent from the Royal Malaysia Customs Department (RMCD) with a multifaceted background in customs regulation, bolstered by a range of specialized courses and extensive experience in the field. Having attended prestigious programs such as the Aviation Border Security Course at the Jakarta Center for Law Enforcement Cooperation (JCLEC) and the GST Audit Course facilitated by Her Majesty Revenue and Customs, UK (HMRC), Barry possesses a comprehensive understanding of border security and audit procedures.
His distinguished career in customs spans various roles, including serving as a GST Auditor at RMCD Kota Kinabalu, where he honed his expertise in tax compliance and auditing. Badwi's leadership capabilities were further demonstrated during his tenure as the Head of Corporate Planning Unit at RMCD Sabah, where he played a pivotal role in strategic planning and policy development.
En Mohd Rozlan, has been working in the financial field for over 25 years. His previous roles in offices including Chief Operating Officer, General Manager, Finance Manager for commercial companies. While currently, he is Director of Indirect Tax Technical Unit in Malaysia Association of Tax Accountants (MATA).
