A law graduate from University of London, Hawke is a self-motivated, energetic and charismatic Trainer with more than 20 years of working experience.
Hawke is a specialist in sales, customer service, communications, problem solving, leadership and change management.
His advantage as a trainer is that he has actual work experience in each of those areas and shares related real life experiences with his participants.
His career started as a sales person in AppCo-Granton selling credit cards and setting up one of the first roadshow booths in Malaysia with a solid sales record. He then went on to a successful customer service role in CitiBank where he also set up the Compliance & Control Self-Assessment and Business Continuity Plan for the department.
Thereafter, he managed the business training teams in AmBank, Price Solutions (wholly-owned Subsidiary of Standard Chartered Bank) & HSBC Bank where he developed the learning framework for the retail division. He also personally coached & trained the leaders and sales teams to achieve their targets nationwide.
He has also worked as a training consultant for Learning Edge and D’Jungle People where he trained companies in project management, leadership, customer service and communications.
He then became the HR Director for Putra Medical Centre Alor Setar (PMCK Berhad) and managed the HR department in terms of recruitment, learning & development, compensation & benefits, employee relations and compliance. He also personally developed the learning framework for the company and coached the management team as well as staff.
He has conducted training for Putra Medical Centre Kedah Berhad, HSBC Bank Berhad, Khazanah Nasional Berhad, Petroliam Nasional Berhad PETRONAS, Alliance Bank Berhad, Price Solutions Sdn Bhd (wholly-owned subsidiary of Standard Chartered Bank Berhad), AMBank Berhad, KWSP, Malakoff Power Berhad and Inter Island Recruitment Services Sdn Bhd to name a few.
An avid shooter, Hawke developed the Senior Selangor Shooting Team and has represented Malaysia in the South East Asia shooting championships and is a proponent for change for the better as he believes that almost everything can be improved upon, be it skills, processes, companies and especially, people.
